She litigates trademark, copyright, trade secret, and unfair competition matters in federal court, and represent clients before the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as in UDRP domain name dispute proceedings. Karol’s transactional expertise includes: IP diligence in M&A and financial restructuring matters; IP and technology licensing (patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret) , strategic agreements (distribution, joint venture, joint development) and software licensing (cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and traditional models), video games, music, NIL (name image and likeness for amateur athletes), pharmaceuticals, franchise restaurants, oil and gas production and infrastructure, apparel, publishing, and telecommunications.
